Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer, best known as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her acting career on stage for Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. The same year, she released her first musical album, It's Tina Time. Louise made her foray into Hollywood playing Griselda Walden on God's little Acre a drama film released 1958.The movie received wide acclaim as well as Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. During this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. Her next role that she portrayed was Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her with in 1964. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying an empathetic, as opposed to the glamorous image that she had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary however she also made a mark as a successful television director with numerous series, including Supernatural and The 100. She was birthed in Essex on August 28 on the 28th of August, 1965. The family moved to Toronto to spend her youth. After being chosen in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there since then.
